Most contractors don't realize how much their estimating process is quietly consuming their business until it starts consuming their life outside the business too.

It usually starts small. A few estimates after dinner. A laptop opened back up on Saturday morning. One more quote before bed.

At first, it feels normal. Just part of running jobs.
